Neurogenic bladder dysfunction
June 13, 2017
With neurogenic bladder dysfunction, the bladder doesn't function properly due to brain or nerve damage.
Symptoms range from frequent urination and urine leakage to difficulty with bladder emptying.
Treatments include medications, exercises for the pelvic muscles, and use of a thin tube to urinate (catheter). Sometimes, surgery is needed.
