Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a severe brain disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally. The cause is unknown. Genetics, environment, and imbalanced brain chemicals may play a role.
It may result in hallucinations, delusions, and disordered thinking.
Treatment is lifelong. It involves medications and psychological and social therapy.
