Dr. Fahd Abdullah Alshuweishi is a highly accomplished Consultant in Nephrology and Internal Medicine with over 10 years of clinical experience. He holds the Saudi Board of Internal Medicine and the Saudi Fellowship of Adult Nephrology, and is a recognized member of both the American Society of Nephrology and the Saudi Society of Nephrology. Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Alshuweishi has held key leadership roles, including Medical Director of the King Fahad Kidney Center and Head of Nephrology – Day Care Unit at King Saud Medical City, as well as serving as an Associate Consultant at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre. He specializes in the comprehensive management of acute and chronic kidney diseases, resistant hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, and kidney transplant care. His clinical expertise extends to performing advanced procedures such as kidney biopsies, dialysis catheter insertion and removal, plasmapheresis, and managing various forms of renal replacement therapy, alongside treating common internal medicine conditions like diabetes and respiratory disorders.
