Acknowledging feelings of guilt and talking about them with a loved one or a trusted friend may provide relief.
Seek emergency help if:
- Suicidal thoughts
- Severely harming oneself
Make an appointment to see a doctor if:
- Feeling down or depressed
- Interrupted sleep or loss of appetite
- Affects relationships at work, school, or home
- Difficult to control
